MAT.TV is the film production company of the Membran Entertainment Group of companies. Founded in 1969, with its roots in the music business, Membran is one of the longest established independent record companies in Europe. It has an international distribution and marketing network, controls in excess of 250.000 musical works and since 2009 has expanded in the film world. In addition to Matthias Kopfmüllers catalogue of 25 films, MAT further controls numerous music related films and documentaries including over 280 hours of high quality video recordings from the last 30 years of the Jazz Festival Bern, featuring the biggest names of the Jazz world. MAT is further involved in several new documentary film ventures.
